Mitsol an Internet Solutions Platinum Partner has redesigned and implemented Nationwide Airline’s Internet connectivity, providing High Availability through two separate access medium into Internet Solution’s Access Nodes in Johannesburg.
The service requirement is crucial to Nationwide’s business through the recent migration to the Worldspan’s Central Reservations (GDS) and Departure Control Systems (DCS) accessed via SSL technology over the Internet. Two access services running on IS Fiber Express & Fiber Express Plus services allowing access to the Internet at Nationwide’s Head Office, the service is fully redundant with last mile connectivity utilising Telkom’s Diginet backed up with an alternative medium.
